NAIDOC Round: Every Club's GuernseyFriday, July 9, 2021 - 9:31 AM

In Round 14 of the 2021 Optus WAFL Season we celebrate NAIDOC Round. Started in 2007 by South Fremantle and Claremont Football Clubs and then adopted League wide in 2009, the WAFL has celebrated the rich history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to our great game.

This year’s NAIDOC Week theme is ‘Heal Country’, calling for all Australians to embrace First Nation’s cultural knowledge and understanding of Country as part of Australia's national heritage.

When ‘Country’ is spoken about in First Nations culture, it is spoken of like a person.

Country is family, kin, law, lore, ceremony, traditions, and language. For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples it has been this way since the dawn of time.

So it was fitting to update our WAFL messaging 'This is Home' to This is KULLARK' as country is our Kullark.

Here is every clubs stunning guernsey designs and the unique stories behind each guernsey.
