WAFLW Grand Final Game Day InfoWednesday, July 7, 2021 - 10:10 AM

The 2021 Optus WAFLW Grand Final heads south to Mandurah for the first time when David Grays Arena hosts the 3rd Optus WAFLW Grand Final. 

The Optus WAFLW League, Simply Energy Rogers Cup and WAFLW Reserves will all be played on Sunday July 11, showcasing some of the best talent across the state.

Key Times:
8.30am– Gates Open
10.30am – Rogers Cup Bouncedown (West Perth v South Fremantle)
12.45pm – Reserves Bouncedown (East Fremantle v Peel Thunder)
2.00pm – Footy Fan Zone
2.00pm – Official WAFLW Grand Final Function 
3.15pm – League Bouncedown (Peel Thunder v Swan Districts)
4.00pm – Half Time Competition
4.00pm – Little League 
4.55pm (approx)– On Field Presentations

Concession and WAFL Members $10

Kids Under 16: Free

All tickets must be purchased at the gates on game day. 

 

Getting to David Grays Arena, Mandurah

Car: there is limited parking available in the main carpark off Dower Street. Parking is available around the surrounding streets and carparks. VIP parking is only for pass holders

Public Transport: Train and bus stops are close by David Grays Arena, plan your journey through the Transperth website here

 

Ground Entry

Entry into David Grays Arena is located at the gate off Dower Street. Please follow the signage displayed for easy entry into the ground. Eftpos machines are available.

SafeWA App

When entering David Grays Arena, check in through the SafeWA app or on the physical registry located at Gate 1. Checking in is mandatory and please sanitise at the provided stations. 

 

Masks

Masks remain mandatory indoors, and outdoors when it is not possible to physically distance. Masks will not be required to wear outdoors where it is possible to remain physically distanced from others. Around the grand stands masks are mandatory unless you are eating or drinking.

Please make sure to bring your mask with you and have it on you at all times.

 

Food and Beverages

Around David Grays Arena there are four main food outlets available. Peel Thunder Sports Bar is located in the main grandstand, the Past Players and Official’s Canteen is located at the southern end of the grandstand, the Mandurah Mustangs canteen is located at the northern end of the grand stand and the Outer Canteen which is located on the eastern wing. 

The Carlton Dry Pop-Up Bar will be set up on the North-western forward pocket of the ground.

 

Ice Cream Van + Coffee + Donuts

Available in the footy fan zone located at the Northern end of the oval. Along with ice cream, the van will also have available Coffee and Donuts to keep you warm.

 

Northern Footy Fan Zone

Footy Fan Zone with heaps of activities for the kids. The Footy Fan Zone will be located at the northern end of the arena.

Halftime Activities

Little League

During the Halftime break, junior girls football players from Baldivis Junior Football Club will tackle their own team-mates as they play in front of the grandstand, be sure to see some potential future W starts in the making. 

KIA Kick to win

During the Halftime break, try your luck at kicking a footy into the boot of a KIA Carnival to win a prize.

Merchandise

Event merchandise will be available inside Gate 1. If you didn’t bring a footy grab one for $10.

Kick-to-kick

Bring your footy and have a kick on David Grays Arena during the breaks. Please keep your distance from the huddles and please stay out of the centre square. If you don’t have a footy swing past the Merchandise Stall inside Gate 1 and grab one for $10.

Post- Match Presentation

Presentations will take place after the final siren on the oval. Please remember to keep a safe physical distance from players, staff and officials during this time.
