Curley offered role with Fremantle Print E-mail
West Perth Senior Coach Todd Curley today met with the West Perth Football Club to inform the Board that he had accepted a position on the coaching staff of the Fremantle Football Club for the 2009 season.

After 3 seasons at the helm of the Falcons that saw the club participate in two finals series’, Curley is excited about the opportunity to further his coaching aspirations in the AFL system and believes that West Perth is well poised to make a serious assault for the 2009 WAFL premiership.

Todd is working with the Board in this transitional period to ensure our preparations for 2009 remain on track. The Board of West Perth has already commenced plans to find a replacement coach for the coming season.

Curley played 148 games for the Falcons between 1992-93, 1995 and 2002-2005. In between he played 3 games for Collingwood, (1994) and 115 games for the Western Bulldogs, (1996 – 2001).

He was appointed senior coach at West Perth upon his retirement as a player for the 2006 season.

The Board of West Perth is grateful to Todd for the enormous work he has done in the past 3 years in building both the culture and player stocks at our club and we wish him every success with his position at Fremantle.
