Swan Districts young gun Clancee Pearce has been named the captain of the Colts Team-of-the-Year.

The Colts team was announced on the night when a crowd of over 400 players, coaches and WA football identities acknowledged East Perth midfielder Jordan Eastwell as the winner of the 2008 Jack Clarke Medal as the fairest and best player in the WAFL colts competition.

The 200 Club WAFL Colts Team-of-the-Year was selected by Russell Smith, Brett Barber, Simon McPhee and Kim Hannah and serves as an opportunity to recognise those players and umpires who have displayed a consistent level of high performance throughout the WAFL Colts season.

There were other awards announced on the night.

The 200 Club Colts Coaches Award, which recognises the best player in the competition based on votes from the WAFL colts coaches, was presented to Luke Foster from East Fremantle Football Club. He was presented with his trophy by 200 Club members Graham Moss and George Michalczyk.

Moss and Michalczyk were also on hand to present the 200 Club Colts Coach-of-the-Year award to Peel Thunder Colts Coach, Michael Pratt.

Pratt has enjoyed a wonderful season with the Peel Thunder Colts and was a worthy recipient of this highly regarded award which also carries with it the honour of being the coach of the 200 Club WAFL Colts Team-of-the-Year.
