Subiaco’s Blake Broadhurst will play his 50th WAFL game against Perth Football Club on June 28th at Medibank Stadium.

A local boy from Warwick/Greenwood JFC, Blake made his debut in 2004 against Perth where that year he played only 3 games.

At the age of 22, Blake has had a fantastic start to his career, playing in 3 successful WAFL Grand Finals, more recently playing in the 06 & 07 League team and in 05 Subiaco Reserves Grade flag. Blake was selected in the WA State team who took on Queensland and won convincingly in Townsville earlier this month.

This year Blake has had a solid pre season and has kicked several bags of goals to have a tally of 36 to the half way mark of the season behind a power forward in Brad Smith.

An outstanding beginning to a young career that should take him to great heights in the future!

The Subiaco Football Club congratulates Blake on reaching 50 games and looks forward to the next 50 at the Lions.
