Subiaco premiership player Shaun Hildebrandt and West Perth midfielder Callum Chambers will play their 100th WAFL league games on a big Foundation Day weekend for WA football.
Hildebrandt, who was recruited in 2006 after 60 games with Peel Thunder, will reach the milestone when the unbeaten Lions take on Claremont at Claremont at Claremont Oval. It will be one of three games played on Foundation Day Monday, adding to clashes between traditional rivals South and East Fremantle and East and West Perth. The only Saturday game is between Peel and Perth at Rushton Park. Chambers, who played 54 games for West Coast and 12 for Carlton, will play WAFL game 100 when the Falcons take on one of his former clubs, East Perth, on Foundation Day Monday. Heading into Round 11 Chambers has played 67 games for West Perth, 13 for Claremont and 19 for East Perth (including a premiership in 2000). |
