Phoenix Demons Captain Troy Cook will make a visit to Moora in June as part of a campaign to promote football in the region. The Roadshow, organised by the Perth Football Club in conjunction with the David Wirrpanda Foundation and the Midlands Regional Football Development Council, will offer a series of football clinics in the district over a three day period.

Chief Executive Officer of the Perth Football Club, Liz Bradley stated that the newly formed ‘Demons Roadshow’  was an exciting initiative which helped the Club to connect with children in their country zone.

“The Clinics provide a fun environment to pass the message of 'healthy living' on to the kids, using football as the vehicle. Troy Cook is a wonderful ambassador for both the Perth Football Club and the David Wirrpanda Foundation as he has achieved the pinnacle in his football career. It is an exciting opportunity for the kids to meet and chat with Troy as he passes on some important messages to them” she said.

Joining Troy on the visit will be the Coach of the Phoenix Demons, Simon Eastaugh and well known football identity Percy Johnson who currently fulfils the role of assistant to the Perth Football Club Colts Coach.

As part of the Roadshow the three football identities will appear in a panel show titled “The Coach, the Captain and the Commander” to be hosted by Demons Football Manager and former Melbourne player Damien Gaspar. The show will be held at the Moora Recreation Centre on Tuesday 3rd June commencing at 8.00pm.Tickets for the show are $5 and are available at the door.
