Peel Thunder appoint new coach

Peel Thunder Football Club has announced that Cam Shepherd will be the Senior Coach for seasons 2013–14.

General Manager Football Brad Bootsma said the club is very excited to have Cam as Senior Coach.

"Cam has been a Senior Assistant at Subiaco in 2008, 2009 under Scott Watters with 2008 being a premiership year, and most recently Senior Assistant at Swan Districts in 2011 and 2012 under Greg Harding," he said.

"Cam has also had involvements with state teams as an assistant coach and selector.

"The club feels that Cam has the right experience for the position and is ready to move into the Senior Coaching role. Cam has also had extensive WAFL experience as a player playing a total of 153 WAFL games for Perth Football Club and Claremont Football Club.

"The club would also like to thank Mark Moody for his efforts as the caretaker coach in the second half of the season," Bootsma said.
