Past players invited to join Demons' celebrations

PERTH Football Club past players will receive free entry to the Demons v Claremont game this Saturday, May 7 to celebrate the 500th game of League Football at Lathlain.

The first game at the venue on April 25, 1959 against Swan Districts saw the Demons claim a narrow win. The club is hoping to repeat this effort against Claremont this Saturday at the newly renamed Brownes Stradium.

Perth Football Club CEO Brian Leys has extended an invitation to all Past Players to attend the game and asked that they contact the club to register for free entry.

The players must phone the club on (08)9362 4499 and speak to Melissa or Rebecca to be registered. They will also be invited to the club's half time function for drinks and there will be a bar area set up during the game.

The past players will also be asked to form a guard of honour for the current players to run through at the beginning of the game.
