VENUES and playing times have been rescheduled for Round 3 of the WAFL’s pre-season Variety Challenge this Saturday, March 6, with the AFL NAB Challenge game between West Coast and Carlton to be played at Medibank Stadium.
The NAB Challenge game, which commences at 10.30am, means the Subiaco and East Fremantle colts game has been shifted from 8am to 5.30pm, while reserves will get under way at 12.50pm and league at 3pm.
Swan Districts and East Perth will play at Perth’s home ground EFTel Oval due to the unavailability of Steel Blue Oval following a concert there at the weekend. The Swans and Royals reserves will also play at EFTel Oval, while the colts will clash at Lightning Park in Noranda.
The game between Peel Thunder and West Perth has also been shifted from Anniversary Park in Rockingham to Arena Joondalup, while the other Round 3 Variety Challenge game will see Claremont host Perth. South Fremantle has the bye.
Last weekend’s Round 2 Variety Challenge games saw Claremont defeat Swan Districts, East Fremantle beat West Perth, Perth take down South Fremantle and Subiaco defeat Peel Thunder, while East Perth had the bye.
