Footy Fundamentals is a fun, play-based Aussie Rules Football program for kids aged 2-5, designed to develop key movement skills like running, throwing, and balancing in a safe and supportive environment.
Where it all begins. A skills-based program that introduces pre-kindy kids to movement, teamwork, and the basics of footy through games and guided play.
The official AFL program for children in Pre-Primary to Year 2. Auskick teaches fundamental footy skills through fun, game-based sessions in a safe, non-contact setting.
For kids in Years 3–6 ready to level up. Superkick bridges the gap between Auskick and Junior Football, with modified rules and a focus on teamwork, confidence, and fun.
A fast, social, and non-contact version of the game for teens and adults. With mixed teams, no tackling, and a whole lot of fun, it’s footy without the pressure.

WA’s talent pathways support young players with the skills and potential to progress to higher levels of the game. Programs run across state academies, WAFL club development squads, and national competitions, with dedicated streams for boys and girls.
WA Football runs programs, competitions, and in-class activities for students from primary through to senior high school. With the support of the West Coast Eagles and Fremantle Dockers, schools can access fun, curriculum-aligned programs that help students learn footy skills, build confidence, and stay active.
WA Football is powered by the people who coach, umpire, and lend a hand at every level of the game. Whether you’re looking to give back, pick up new skills, or do something you’ve always wanted to do, there’s a way to get involved.
WA Football acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the many lands across Western Australia where we train, play, and come together through football. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all First Nations people. We recognise the deep and continuing contribution First Nations peoples make to our game and our communities.
