Having lost its last game to Victoria Country, WA will need to win both of its remaining games to claim back-to-back Championship wins. A strong travelling squad of 25 will travel to Melbourne this Thursday for games against Tasmania on Saturday, July 5 at Casey Fields before rounding out its campaign against Victoria Metro on Wednesday July, 9 at Telstra Dome. All three games at the Telstra Dome on Wednesday July, 9 will be televised live on Fox Sports. “The squad is developing with every session it has together,, WAFC Talent and Coaching Manager Jon Haines said. “The opportunity to travel to Melbourne and experience a week together will no doubt offer some further development for this group. This program is as much about developing young men as developing talented athletes and this type of opportunity will offer some tremendous learning outcomes for all the players over the course of the week. “The group is in very good condition physically with no injury concerns. “We’ll head over to Melbourne with a real focus on continuing to develop the group and to develop our style of play. They are an outstanding group of young men and we’re confident they will represent their State with pride.” |
