2008 UMPIRE TRAINING INFORMATION

Training for field, boundary and goal umpires is held at Hamer Park, Mt Lawley every Monday and Wednesday night from 530pm to 730pm. Both panel and club appointed umpires are welcome to attend. * No training will be held on public holidays.

UNIFORMS

Orange umpire uniforms are available for purchase and collection from UMPIRES TRAINING via the Community Umpires Association. As orders are placed and received via the AFL it will be a first in, best dressed format. You may place an order but please bear in mind the AFL only takes bulk orders so often there is a considerable time delay.

Green "First Year" umpire packs for BOUNDARY UMPIRES ONLY are available from Glenn Omodei for collection at training or Subiaco Oval. Umpires MUST contact Glenn on 0402 258 232 to organise collection and payment of $30.

APPOINTMENTS

Umpiring coaching and support staff will be responsible for administering umpires appointments for the 2008 season. All appointments will be available online (please click the "sportingpulse links" link on the right of this page to access) or on the noticeboard at training. Please contact your coach for any information and ensure you advise your coaches well in advance if unavailable to umpire. No contact and the coaches will assume you are available and appoint you to a match as applicable.
