The West Australian Football Commission is pleased to announce the Fremantle Football Club as the new sponsor of its intra school AFL Recreational Football competition which will now be called – Freo House Footy.
Freo House Footy (formerly AFL Rec Footy) is a modified game that has strong parallels with the traditional game of Australian Football. Designed so that everyone can play, it is less physically demanding, has minimal time commitment, no risk of serious injury with a major emphasis on fun and safety (non contact). The game enables people of all ages and ability levels to participate in male, female or mixed competitions. Schools can easily include the competition as part of the AFL SEPEP program or it can be successfully incorporated into a schools Physical Education schedule.
All schools who register to participate in an intra school competition receive a FREE Freo House Footy kit. The kit includes a class set of bibs, 10 synthetic footballs and a set of portable goal posts.
