SOUTH Fremantle's reserves extended its lead on top of the ladder with a win over the second-placed Claremont in Round 16 on Saturday while East Fremantle won big in the REDiMED Colts to hold off the chasing Peel Thunder and Claremont.

The Round 16 reserves matches all took place on Saturday beginning with the league-leading South Fremantle beating Claremont 13.9 (87) to 9.8 (62) at Claremont Oval.

Subiaco hammered Perth 24.14 (158) to Perth 6.6 (42) at Leederville Oval, East Fremantle won a thriller 10.14 (74) to 10.13 (73) over Swan Districts at Steel Blue Oval and Peel Thunder prevailed in a tight one over West Perth 13.10 (88) to 11.14 (80) at HBF Arena.

The results leave South Fremantle (11-3) two games clear on top of the ladder ahead of Claremont (9-5). Subiaco (8-6) is third with Perth (8-7) and East Fremantle (7-7) rounding out the top five.

Swan Districts (6-8) sit just outside ahead of West Perth (5-9), Peel Thunder (5-9) and East Perth (4-9).

Saturday's REDiMED Colts action started at Claremont Oval with Claremont defeating South Fremantle 11.14 (80) to 6.7 (43).

Subiaco also beat Perth 7.18 (60) to 7.5 (47), East Fremantle thrashed Swan Districts 14.16 (100) to 2.5 (17) and Peel Thunder downed West Perth 11.11 (77) to 7.7 (49).

East Fremantle (10-4) remains on top in the colts after its big win with Peel Thunder (9-1-4) remaining second just ahead of Claremont (9-5). Subiaco (8-6) is fourth and Swan Districts (7-1-6) fifth.

West Perth (6-8) is in sixth position in front of East Perth (5-8), South Fremantle (5-9) and Perth (3-12).

STANDOUT RESERVES PERFORMERS
In the reserves contest at Claremont Oval, the top-of-the-table South Fremantle overcame Claremont with a 25-point victory.

Mitch Dzelebdzic had a day out for the Bulldogs kicking seven goals while Jarrod Garlett chimed in with two to go with 30 possessions, 10 marks, 10 tackles and seven entries inside-50. Zac De San Miguel also booted two majors.

Jarrod Parry amassed 33 disposals for South Fremantle, Chad Pearson 23, Kyle Russell 21, Matthew Parker 21, Andre Coutinho 20, Jesse Musika 20, Josh Collard 19 and Tom Vandeleur 18.

Kaiden Gilbert kicked three goals for Claremont with Jack Richardson booting two.

Jacob Sideris racked up 32 possessions for the Tigers, Lachlan Martinis 30, Ben Musitano 20, Cameron Quenby 19 and Aaron Holt 18 to go with eight tackles and a goal.

Subiaco's reserves set the tone for its league side later in the day by thrashing Perth by 116 points at Leederville Oval.

Rowen Powell kicked five goals for the Lions along with 22 possessions and five marks while Dylan Nelson kicked five to go with 25 disposals and nine marks.

Ryan Borchet also booted three majors, Brayden Ainsworth three, Jarrod Turner two and Simon Parry two who also had 24 possessions.

Matt Bogensperger put in a dominant showing for Subiaco with 42 possessions with Daniel Perkins gathering 26 touches, Ryan Wade 25, Jacob Miller 23 and Josh Underwood 19. Tim Sutherland was solid in the ruck with 10 disposals, 35 hit outs and a goal.

Brendon White kicked two goals for Perth with Liam McKenna gathering 24 possessions, Kurtis Chester 19, Jake Schleicher 18 and Taran Etto 16 to go with 14 tackles.

The reserves thriller of the round took place at Steel Blue Oval with East Fremantle beating Swan Districts by a point at Steel Blue Oval.

Daniel Parker and Joel Kalajzic kicked two goals each for East Fremantle with the latter also compiling 25 possessions and nine marks.

Jesse Adamini finished with 31 possessions for the Sharks, Jye Clements 28, Ben Harding 27, Miles Franklin 25 and James Harrold 19.

Brody Sutton kicked three goals for Swan Districts and Giles Dent.

David McKay amassed 21 possessions for the black-and-whites, Josh Power 21, Tom Smirk 21, Brandon Erceg 20, Laurence Grescos 19, Ben McGillivray and ruckman Troy Yukich another 42 hit outs.

The reserves contest at HBF Arena saw Peel Thunder also record an eight-point victory over West Perth.

Brett Milward kicked five goals for Peel from six kicks with Matthew Dean booting three majors also and Nick Merritt two.

Brad Walsh racked up 39 disposals for the Thunder, Chris Wrigley 34, Michael Humble 21, Calvin Thorne 20, Jackson Capurso 19 and Luke Strnadica 19 to go with seven marks and 51 hit outs.

Brayden Antonio kicked four goals for West Perth to go with 17 possessions and five marks. Josh Hatch also kicked two majors.

Angus Allen racked up 26 possessions for the Falcons, Mitch Peirce 25, Broderick Walton 18, Max Alexander 17, Nathan Alexandre 17, Riley Hutchinson 15 and Baylee James 15.

REDiMED COLTS SHINING LIGHTS
Claremont opened the day at Claremont Oval with a 37-point victory in the colts against South Fremantle.

Nicholas Allan booted three goals for Claremont, Joshua Devitt-Boyd two and Isaac Barton two.

Jake Patmore had a huge game with 39 possessions for the Tigers while Callan England gathered 26 disposals, Declan McNamara 24, Rhett Lloyd 20 and Edward Aitken 19.

Thomas Weston, Jacob Warne, Brodie Plunkett, Glenn Byron, Kyle Hamersley and Zane Sumich were the goal scorers for South Fremantle.

Captain Bruno Faulkner racked up 29 possessions for the Bulldogs, Matthew Ward 23 and Warne 17 to go with 32 hit outs.

Subiaco began Saturday at Leederville Oval with a 13-point colts victory against Perth.

Che Wyatt kicked two goals for Subiaco to go with 14 possessions, four marks and 11 hit outs.

Max Dennis compiled 27 possessions for the Lions, Liam Hickmott 23, Luke Foley 20, Kyron Hayden 20, Thomas Edwards-Baldwin 20, Madoc Plane 18, Nicholas Baroni 18 and Ben Miller 18 to go with seven marks, 44 hit outs and a goal.

Trent Simpson and Lachlan Fraser both kicked two goals each for Perth.

Luke English gathered 25 possessions for the Demons, Zac Casey 20, Joseph Ugle 20 and Nyika John 18.

East Fremantle's colts had a huge 83-point win over Swan Districts at Steel Blue Oval to remain on top of the ladder.

Dillon O'Reilly booted seven goals for East Fremantle with Drew Blurton also kicking two to go with 18 possessions.

Milan Murdock finished with 21 disposals for the Sharks, Jaimon Alone 20, Thomas Eastaugh 19, Timothy Bockman 19 and Cody Smith 18.

Samuel Taylor and Denholm Melrose kicked Swan Districts' two goals. Taylor also had 19 possessions, eight marks and 10 tackles.

Malaki Rodoreda had 19 disposals and 12 tackles as well for the black-and-whites with Blake Pescud gathering 18 touches and Gregory Ottaviano 16.

The day began at HBF Arena with Peel Thunder's colts beating West Perth 11.11 (77) to 7.7 (49).

Lachlan Cullen and Brandon Gregory booted two goals apiece for Peel.

Lachlan Mitchell racked up 29 possessions for the Thunder, Michael Randall 25, Jakeb Shine 24, Kyle Havelberg 22 and James Sturrock 20.

Rhys Bostock and Kurt Monaghan kicked two goals each for West Perth.

Nathan Murray gathered 23 possessions for the Falcons, Connor West 20 (13 tackles), Alec Johnson 19, Thomas Boyes 18 (10 tackles), Oliver Kidd 16 and Graham Richards 16.
