WAFL Round 15 teams and previewsFriday, June 30, 2017 - 11:02 AM

WEST Perth, Claremont and East Perth face crucial Round 15 WAFL matches as the battle for fifth position heats up with them taking on Subiaco, Peel Thunder and East Fremantle respectively.

The Falcons have now lost their past two matches so need to win on Saturday to avoid the prospect of slipping outside the top five with the Tigers and Royals needing to win to keep pressure on for those finals spots.

Peel Thunder and Swan Districts also need to win to hold on to their places in the top five.

While Subiaco and South Fremantle look safe in the top two, quite simply five teams can't fit into the remaining three positions so every game from here is going to be crucial.

All four Round 15 matches take place on Saturday afternoon with West Perth hosting its annual International Football Festival at HBF Arena to coincide with the clash with Subiaco.

Peel Thunder also plays Claremont at Bendigo Bank Stadium with East Perth taking on East Fremantle at Leederville Oval and Perth battling Swan Districts at Steel Blue Oval.

The second placed South Fremantle has the bye.
