DEPPRO WA State 18s v Victoria MetroFriday, June 16, 2017 - 2:23 PM

The DEPPRO WA State 18s play Victoria Metro at 11am at Domain Stadium this Sunday, June 18 in their second game of the NAB AFL National 18s Championships.
 
The team is coming off a thrilling golden-point win in their opening game of the Championships against South Australia at Domain Stadium last Saturday.

After building a 31-point lead in the first three quarters, WA saw the margin cut back with five consecutive goals to South Australia before East Perth's Matt Young marked inside 50 and kicked a point to seal the win in extra time.

West Perth's Oscar Allen led the way on the scoreboard for WA with three goals, while Taryce Stewart (Swan Districts) added two.

Brayden Ainsworth (Subiaco), Ian Hill (Perth), Sydney Stack (Perth), Matt Young (East Perth) and Brandon Starcevich (East Perth) all kicked one goal each.

Ainsworth was also WA's leading possession getter with 26, followed by Tom Joyce (East Fremantle) 21, Jake Patmore (Claremont) 19, and Callan England (Claremont) 18.

Entry this Sunday is free via Gate 26 from 10.30am. Wheelchair and pram access is through Gate 4. Public seating will be available in the two tier stand from blocks 103 – 113, 207 – 213 and 303 – 308.
