WAFL Round 7 teams and previewsFriday, April 28, 2017 - 9:45 AM

THERE are three games in Round 7 of the WAFL on Saturday with Swan Districts and Claremont looking to cement their spots near the top of the ladder, West Perth aiming for a third straight win and Peel Thunder and East Perth meeting ahead of the Western Derby.

The three matches in Round 7 all take place on Saturday afternoon starting at HBF Arena with West Perth hosting Perth.

The Falcons are looking for a third straight victory and to celebrate the 150th game of captain Jay van Berlo while the Demons are hunting for their second win of 2017.

Swan Districts takes on Claremont at Steel Blue Oval with the black-and-whites out to rebound from their first loss of the season last Saturday against West Perth. The Tigers are looking to respond to their opening two defeats of 2017 the past fortnight to South Fremantle and Subiaco.

The round then concludes at Mandurah's Bendigo Bank Stadium with Peel Thunder taking on East Perth.

Peel has lost its last three games with the reigning premiers trying to avoid a fourth straight loss while East Perth broke through for its first win of 2017 last week against Perth.

The top two teams South Fremantle and Subiaco have the bye this weekend as do the winless East Fremantle.
