Smarter than Smoking Development Officer - West Perth

The West Australian Football Commission is seeking a dynamic and pro-active person to join their team as the Development Officer for the West Perth District.

To be successful in your application you will have experience within a similar role with a demonstrable history of using innovative techniques to achieve growth targets.  You will also be required to display an ability to operate within a multi-faceted environment and build strong relationships with key football stakeholders.

Essential selection criteria includes:

  • Experience or qualifications in Sports Management/Business related discipline.
  • Operational experience in implementing new programs and initiatives in the area of Football Development.
  • Ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing and implementing operational planning.
  • Financial management skills.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Able to work after normal business hours and on weekends.

‘Smarter than Smoking’ Development Officer

Desirable selection criteria includes:

  • Knowledge of the WAFC structure.
  • Knowledge of Football.
  • Knowledge of the West Perth District, including factors that may influence the football environment within it.
