Former Claremont player Coby Henderson has returned to Claremont Oval in his new role as the Smarter than Smoking Development Officer in the Claremont District.

Henderson joins the Tigers District Development team in an exciting time for the growth and participation of Community football.

A product of the Tigers regional catchment area the Great Southern, Henderson joins the West Australian Football Commission having been a teacher in Busselton following his completion of an Exercise and Heath Science degree with a graduate diploma in Education.

“It is great to have Coby come on board, joining what is a robust and exciting football environment in the Claremont District,” said Claremont District Manager Dean Horsington.

“He has hit the ground running and has already made positive contributions to our great game in a short time. As a player in the District, Coby came through the Claremont Football Club development squad system playing junior and senior football before graduation through colts and reserves football to play league for the Tigers.

“Coby has coached both PSA and community football which will give him a great insight into many of the issues confronting the football industry. “
