Innaloo Bulldogs Football Club Alive and Well in 2009

The Claremont District is pleased to announce that the Innaloo Bulldogs Junior football club has started up again in 2009. Previously known as the North Innaloo Junior Football Club, the club was established in 1961 and fielded teams until 2001 over a period of 40 years. However due to an ageing demographic resulting in diminishing numbers of kids in the Innaloo area, the club went into voluntary recess in 2001.

With the help of the Innaloo Amateur Football Club, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, and an influx of numbers in the area over the past few years, the Innaloo Junior Football Club has re-established itself in the Claremont District.

The club currently has over 20 Auskick participants and is looking to attract more players who are aged between 5 and 8 who are currently not involved in a junior club in the Innaloo area.

In an attempt to enhance this prospect the Innaloo Junior Football Club has tirelessly promoted the Nab AFL Auskick program to all primary schools in the surrounding area to encourage as many kids as possible to join.

For only $40 kids receive their own NAB AFL Auskick pack, quality coaching from accredited coaches as well as an Innaloo Bulldogs t-shirt, which is great value for money!

The Innaloo Football Club is very excited about the future club pathway with the successful introduction of the new Auskick program, which they hope to build on in following years to have teams entering into the Claremont District junior competition.

Plenty of work is still being done behind the scenes to ensure young players and their parents in their area have a place to play footy.
With Innaloo having produced several WAFL and AFL stars such as Matthew 'Spider' Burton and Dwayne Lamb, the only question left is to ask who the next star will be.
