WA finish second to Victoria at Youth Girls Championships

Western Australia finished second to Victoria at the Youth Girls National 18s championships after playing in the Grand Final on Saturday.

The Championships were played at Southport Sharks AFC on the Gold Coast, with WA defeating NSW/ACT, Queensland and South Australia to reach the Grand Final against Victoria.

After a close first half, WA lead by four points at quarter time before Victoria reclaimed the lead in the second half to win by 10 points.
