After a successful ‘mixed’ competition in the inaugural season, the competition has now expanded with a Men’s division being held every Thursday.
There is a great mix of skills, with beginners playing alongside former West Coast ruckman Phil Scott, really making it ‘The Game for Everyone’.
Last season’s mixed champions, Hatch Hurricanes, are leading the way undefeated at the top of the ladder with Angry Birds and Woody’s Warriors travelling closely behind.In the Men’s division the Macquarie Bank side is looking very hard to beat after a 59-point win over the Landscorpions, who were led by ex-eagle, Kasey Green.
The AFL9s Corporate Cup is run by the East Perth Football Development District and is played weekly over the lunch break on Langley Park. All corporate entities are invited to take part in the competition - it is great fitness and a lot on fun.
