Level 1 Coaching Courses

Level 2 Coaching Course

The course caters for youth and senior community coaches who currently are coaching and hold either a youth or senior level 1 coach accreditation and have done so for minimum 2 years. It is Ideal for coaches involved or have an interest in coaching at a higher level (rep teams, development squads, etc.). For coaches with an aptitude and genuine interest in improving their coaching skills.

Around 30 hours of course work including the 2 day course is required in addition to practical involvement. It is conducted through practical, hands-on involvement of participants. The course focuses on preparing a coach to plan, prepare, conduct, review and adapt a year-long program of coaching. Coaches are assessed practically on the job at training and in a match environment

The course will be at Mt. Lawley ECU on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th March where we be expecting up to 90 coaches to attend.

Kevin Sheedy will be attending the course on the Sunday.

Some of the other presenters at the course will be AIS representatives Kevin Ball (Kicking biomechanics) and James Veal (Strength and conditioning), Michael Broadbridge and Tim Gepp from the West Coast Eagles and Rob Wiley High Performance coach WAFC.
